Sherwin Banfield brings a unique blend of creativity and technology to your real estate experience through decades of practice in fine art sculpture and years of technological experience within the luxury and real estate space.
Originally from the twin Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Sherwin left for New York at the early age of 10, assimilating into New York’s art and music culture. Before pursing his passion for real estate, he explored his love for art and music with great admiration and focus, graduating with honors from Parsons School of Design, then further studying sculpture at The Art Students League of New York.
An accomplished public art sculptor, Sherwin has created a series of monuments throughout New York City, notably of Hip Hop’s most accomplished Legends; LL Cool J and The Notorious B.I.G. Borrowing from his studio practice he brings to the art of real estate an eye for spatial aesthetics and practical use. Offering a unique understanding of structural detail to match your real estate requests.
His years of experience as a technical specialist in the luxury and real estate space offers a curated experience with special attention to personal communication, individual needs, problem solving and detail. Sherwin has provided and supported technology needs of luxury brands VOGUE, GQ and Architectural Digest including special events such as the Met Gala.

Outside of his passion for real estate, Sherwin can be found sculpting in his Long Island City studio, teaching a sculpture workshop to kids and adults of all backgrounds and skillsets. Sherwin currently lives in Astoria, Queens with his wife and two daughters who he adores.
