About Sheila K.
Born and raised in Cumberland County in Southern NJ, Sheila has been a proud Delaware County resident since 2000. She and her husband of 30 years, Mark, have raised four children who all attended school in the Upper Darby School District. A former Certified Nurse Midwife, nurse and fitness instructor, Sheila has dedicated her life to serving others, “in whatever capacity the Universe allows”.
After nearly 25 years in healthcare, Sheila has joined forces with Compass to fulfill another lifelong dream – a career in Real Estate. A chance conversation with her parent’s landlord at the tender age of 10, sparked Sheila’s initial and lifelong interest in Real Estate. Watching the difficulties her parents endured during the purchase of their first home - without the help of a real estate agent - solidified a long-held belief that every client deserves someone on their side to assist them in the home buying process.
In her free time Sheila enjoys crocheting, baking, reading, traveling (mostly by cruise ship!), hiking and spending time with her family. She also sings in her spiritual community’s choir and is learning to play the piano. Sheila is ever grateful for the support of her family – Taylor, 30; Victoria, 25, Mark, Jr., 21 and Liam, 18 and includes her fur babies, 10-year old Hazel a Westie/Chihuahua and 13-year old kitty, Tonks.
