Seita brings nearly 30 years of brokerage management, agent development and risk management experience to her role. She began her career as an attorney with a boutique law firm, Hargis & Harpold, which defended Realtors across Texas against DTPA, negligence and similar claims. She became well-versed in best practices for Texas brokers and honed skills such as contract drafting and negotiation. The firm also served as outside counsel for HAR, providing a behind-the-scenes perspective of Realtor ethical duties and cooperative compensation rules.
More recently, Seita has worked on leadership teams for Houston luxury brokerages. Her favorite role was as the founding Sales Manager for Compass - Houston. Agents value Seita's unique blend of hands-on negotiation expertise and sales skills. She has been privileged to work closely with many new agents along their journeys to become top producers. Seita has served on numerous HAR committees over the years including Risk Management, Management Central, Technology, and the MLS Committee.
Seita is married to her best friend, Jimmy, and has three wonderful children, Jimmy, Jake & Annika. To recharge, she loves to travel with her family, especially to the beach or the mountains. She taught Sunday school at St. Vincent de Paul and St. John Vianney churches for many years, and volunteers with Houston Food Bank, National Charity League and Houston Pets Alive.
