As a Florida native and graduate of the prestigious Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton as well as Florida Atlantic University, Sean has an impressive background and exceptional local network, which provided him the foundation to quickly earn a strong reputation as one of the top real estate advisors in South Florida.

Prior to immersing himself into residential real estate at the ripe age of twenty two, Sean gained invaluable experience in many different industries, including an opportunity to work for Weingarten Realty, a publicly traded REIT based out of Houston, which was acquired by Kimco Realty in 2021 for nearly $4 billion, where he managed, leased, and handled the day-to-day operations for several of their shopping centers throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

In addition his CRE background, while working towards a BA in finance at FAU, Sean had the unique opportunity to work at Banyan Equity Management, a highly regarded local hedge fund based in Boca Raton, which, at the time, had assets under management (AUM) of approximately $1 billion and was the recipient of the coveted Barron’s Top 100 hedge funds award on numerous occasions. These indispensable experiences in the commercial real estate world and financial markets proves why Sean is able to earn the business of and retain countless clients in his real estate business as they are able to benefit from his unique perspective, which focuses on profit, long-term appreciation, and proper valuation of any asset class.

In addition to being born and raised in Boca Raton, Sean is also a dual citizen of both the U.S. and Ireland, which allows him to connect with foreign clientele and also provides a unique vantage point for his clients to understand and benefit from his macroeconomic viewpoint of the volatile South Florida real estate market.

NFL player selling waterfront home in Delray Beach

Former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert, who signed a two-year, $15.5 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March, has listed his waterfront home in Delray Beach. 

“Tropic Isle is a waterfront community that’s zoned for Boca Raton schools,” said Sean Mooney, a real estate agent at brokerage Sutter & Nugent LLC in Delray Beach, who holds the listing with colleague James Lopez. “You’re a mile from the beach and a five-minute drive to Atlantic Avenue, so it’s kind of a hot spot.”

Luxury townhomes near Jupiter sell for $15 million to grandson of Hudson News founder

Sean Mooney, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker, represented the seller in the deal with his business partner James Lopez. Realtor Brooke Audette represented the buyer. 

The 16-home Bella Villaggio complex, built in 2017, was posted for sale on the Multiple Listing Service in February with an asking price of $15.9 million. Although the seller agreed to the lesser $15 million, it was still a 56% increase from the previous sale just two years ago, and amounts to about $938,000 per unit.

The office property located at 7001 N Federal Hwy in Boca Raton has been sold for a total price of $4,000,000. The property spans approximately 5,800 square feet, resulting in a price per square foot of $690. 

The sale was facilitated by Alan Kaye from Transworld Commercial Real Estate and Sean Mooney. These experienced brokers represented the seller in the transaction.

On November 10, 2023, a multifamily property located at 3770 Southeast County Line Road in Tequesta was sold for a total price of $15,000,000. The property consists of 16 units with a price per unit (PPU) of $937,500. 

The sale of this property was facilitated by Brooke Audette of Compass Commercial, who represented the buyer, and Sean Mooney of Coldwell Banker Premium Realty, who represented the seller. Additionally, Joseph Hach served as the mortgage broker for the transaction.
