About Sara

Sara Fisher joined Compass DFW's sales management team in 2020, having now managed three of the seven DFW sales offices. Prior to that, Sara managed sales, marketing, and team operations for Compass' top-producing team in Texas. During her six years with the team, Sara’s thoroughness, marketing expertise, and attention to detail helped the group remain a top-producing team both in Texas and across the United States by achieving record-breaking production year after year.

Sara has 20 years of project management and operations experience. She started her career in government and political affairs, first at an Austin-based lobbying firm and then for the National Federation of Independent Business. She next served as an eight-state Regional Manager for Congressional Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Sara returned to her IT roots and managed the e-commerce component for Harold’s Stores, a then 60-year-old clothing company. Before entering real estate, she worked for a technology and digital marketing firm building web platforms and systems, as well as social media and branding components for major corporations.

Originally from Dallas, Sara moved to West Palm Beach where she remained until high school. Her family eventually relocated to New Braunfels, Texas. Sara went on to earn a BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University, Mays Business School. She also completed a graduate program in Advanced International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service.

She is a former Dallas CASA volunteer and has been very involved with the Kappa Kappa Gamma Dallas Alumnae Association through various leadership positions for over a decade. Sara was an integral Advisory Board member of the Gamma Phi chapter at Southern Methodist University from 2013 to 2019. She is an active member of Preservation Park Cities and the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Living in Devonshire, University Park, and the M Streets over the last 20 years has kept her close to the pulse of Dallas markets. In her downtime, Sara enjoys traveling, time with family and friends, and keeping her terrier, Annie, out of trouble.
