About Salvador
Salvador P. Gavilan has a Mechanical Engineering degree. His first job came at General Motors when he was barely 18 years old, and from there, he spent the next 32 years tied to the automotive industry.
His passion for car racing eventually came to light, when he started to work for Mobil Oil Corporation where he spent 21 years closely involved with engines, car manufacturers, and finally getting involved with Formula 1. Having raced sports cars for few years, Salvador was enjoying his work, his assignments, his life and his travels around the world to supervise activities during Formula 1 weekend races.
Salvador went to get his Master’s degree on Business Administration at the University of Washington, in Seattle, Wa. a degree that eventually helped him work with his wife’s Corporate Travel Business after he decided to retire from Mobil Oil Corporation. He spent the next 7 years as the Financial Manager.
Salvador ‘s life has always been about accomplishments and ethical work. He decided to obtain his Real Estate License late in life, with the purpose to interact with people and prove his Human Relations capabilities, his Integrity, and his dedication to help others. He believes Real Estate is about Knowledge and communications.
Salvador enjoys swimming and bicycling and has participated in competitions most of his life. He wanted to live by the water in Fort Lauderdale for many years, and eventually moved in 2014. He is convinced himself what motivated him to make the move. He believes he can present strong convincing facts and advantages to potential Real Estate buyers on what the city of Fort Lauderdale has to offer. Salvador continues to enjoy life in the city along with his wife, and two dogs, and he still stays active in sports.
