About Robert
Robert came to Compass after a successful career as a journalist who has always loved historic houses. Robert developed his love for prewar architecture while an editor at Curbed—the urbanism, design, and real estate website—where he penned the column "Period Dramas."
As a broker, Robert has earned a reputation for being easy to work with while approaching every deal with exacting detail and exemplary customer service, qualities he first learned while assisting the editor-in-chief of Departures Magazine. Whether you are buying, selling, or renting with Robert, he excels at breaking down the process into manageable steps that yield success.
Robert has gained special notoriety from Forbes, House Beautiful, and New York Magazine, among others, for his popular historic-house themed Instagram account, @notenoughangers, which features 18th, 19th, and early 20th-century architecture. Robert loves connecting with those who are passionate about architecture and welcomes everybody to direct message him and say hi!
Robert is so excited that he gets to channel his passion for architecture - which first got started when he was an art history major at Williams College - into a career. Robert grew up just outside of Boston and lives in a Harlem brownstone, where he and his boyfriend love to cook and entertain.
