About Rick
Rick Wegman has been an integral part of Fort Worth Real Estate and Development since 2003. He has decades of experience in brokerage and development and was instrumental in growing the award-winning HGC Residential Development into the largest custom home builder in the area. In addition to real estate and development, Rick has launched and owns an interior decorating firm and a property management firm being instrumental in the development and growth of all the companies. He has constructed and brokered the sale of some of the area’s most significant properties.
Rick is a Certified Luxury Specialist and is often featured in various media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, NBC News, Forbes, Mansion Global as well as multiple local newspapers and magazines. Rick has continuously been named a Top Realtor by 360 West Magazine and Fort Worth Magazine and is named as one of Fort Worth's 400 Most Influential for the four years running.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Wisconsin and Florida. He graduated from TCU and went on to receive a master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
Rick is an active, annual donor to The TCU Frog Club, The Fort Worth Zoo, and has served on the Board of Casa Manana for the last 15 years. He and his family enjoy travel with repeated visits to Europe and the Amalfi Coast. His favorite Texas experience is any TCU sporting event followed by dinner at Joe T. Garcias.
Among his favorite North Texas neighborhoods are River Crest, Monticello, TCU, Colonial, and Montserrat, and Montrachet Rick and his wife are avid art collectors, patrons of all our local museums as well as logging visits to countless museums domestic and abroad. He is also a collector, buying and selling classic cars and wines.
