Richard Oberly

Richard Oberly is a Top-Agent who is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients. Prior to joining our team, Richard had a long career at Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. of Bear, DE. Prior to joining Long and Foster, he was an agent for Weichert Real Estate of Wilmington, DE and before Weichert was an agent and part owner of Omni Real Estate, Inc. which was a full service real estate brokerage company with 15+ agents and a rental management portfolio of hundreds of single family homes, duplexes and condominium associations. As an agent Richard has been a multi-million dollar sales club member and has personally managed hundreds of properties over the years.

Richard is a lifelong resident of New Castle County, Delaware. Having graduated from Concord High School in 1973 and The University of Delaware in 1979. After a short stint working for a ticket broker for all major sporting events, shows, concerts and plays in the Philadelphia area Richard began his life long career in real estate in 1984. Because of his lifelong attachment to the area and his experience Richard's knowledge of the market is unsurpassed. Richard is highly familiar with both corporate relocation and the residential sales markets. He has the knowledge, resources and skill to market a seller's home effectively and to help buyer's find a home.

Richard believes that a key element in real estate is developing relationships. The buying and selling of real estate is a cooperative effort and demands a building of trust with his clients. The buying and selling of real estate is the single biggest monetary transaction most people will make in their lives and trust, cooperation and listening are the keys to a successful transaction. Selling and buying real estate is a serious business, but it doesn't have to cause anxiety. Richard's mission is to make the transaction as pleasant as it can be. Knowledge and competency is the key.
