Whether you are relocating to the Bay Area from afar, moving within the area or selling your home, chances are you are aware of what continues to draw people here from around the world, in turn creating one of the most competitive and fast paced real estate markets in the country. The San Francisco Bay Area is arguably one of the most desirable and sought after places to live. From the near perfect day to day weather to the coastal Redwoods, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oakland & Berkeley Hills and beyond, the Bay Area continues to attract not only the world's best and brightest, but also the world's most unique and dynamic people. The proof of this rooted within the Bay area's rich, vibrant history and tradition of continuously being on the cutting edge of both culture as well as technology.
What I bring to the table and how I can help you:
I make myself available to my clients as needed. Whether this falls between normal business hours or not, I deliberately choose not to overload myself in an effort to be available as needed to my clients. I pride myself in my quick response time and make every effort to reply to emails, texts and phone calls within a 2 hour period, when at all possible. This courtesy extends far beyond the close of escrow and is a practice I apply to daily life.
The home search can seem long and sometimes is, however once in escrow days move very quickly. With shorter and shorter escrow periods becoming the norm due to the structure of a truly competitive offer, agents must be available on extremely short notice in order to abide by very tight contingency periods. It is my priority to budget my work load so that I can meet the needs of all of my clients, on time, every time.
I bring first-hand in-depth urban knowledge of the East Bay and the neighborhoods within it, going far beyond numbers and spreadsheets. Whether it is the urban lifestyle you are seeking or a secluded paradise in the hills, it is here, and I will help you find it. I have been a proud Oakland resident and community activist for almost 20 years, living in some of the East Bay's hottest neighborhoods including Rockridge, Alameda and NOBE. I currently live a few short blocks off of Lake Merrit with my husband and son.
I attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, studying classical violin performance. I grew up on the East Coast in a Northern Virginia suburb in Prince William County. I have been working since the age of 15. Prior to coming to real estate I was in the restaurant management and service industry. My husband and I moved westward from Ohio to California over 18 years ago and counting. First and foremost I am a mother and wife, choosing a career in real estate after the birth of our son. The big surprise for me was the unexpected passion and talent I had for it right out of the gate. (Interestingly enough I got my very first written offer accepted. I took it as a sign and have been running with it ever since!) I have found working with first time buyers to be especially rewarding and I thoroughly enjoy successfully taking them through the buying process from beginning to end.
In essence I would describe myself as your "not so average, not so typical", typical Oaklandish mother/ wife/ realtor, enjoying all that the Bay area has to offer from the dog parks to the taco trucks, from the Oakland A's to the zoo; waking up each morning honored to work and live in such a diverse and stunningly beautiful community. From the people I am privileged to meet and stay connected with, to the constant community exploration and discovery that I make a part of my due diligence as an agent, there is no profession I would choose over real estate, and no other place I would choose to do it in.
Thank you for viewing my profile. I look forward to receiving your call in the near future!
