About Randall
Randy is a native Texan – born Corpus Christi and raised Houston, before moving to the DC area more than 25 years ago.
Randy has a diverse background which includes stints as a CPA (auditor for Deloitte, Haskins Sells, and accountant for KP Exploration), and as an attorney/policy analyst for the United States Department of the Treasury where he worked for more than twelve years with assignments to the Vice President’s office to work on the National Performance Review, the White House Counsel’s Office, and the Presidential Commission on the Future of the U.S. Postal Service where he served as Policy Director.
Randy brings skills from these previous careers with him, including a strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a keen sense of when you need to check with a specialist regarding tax and legal issues. His clients appreciate his ability to listen, understand their needs, and provide options. He is also good at adapting his approach to the needs of each of his clients whether they need to make a quick decision or need to “kick a few tires” before finding the right home.
Randy has been selling real estate since 2004 and has lived in both DC and Northern Virginia. He is licensed in Virginia (Salesperson), Maryland (Salesperson) and the District of Columbia (Associate ). Though he is happy to work with you pretty much anywhere, most of his experience is in Northern Virginia (Arlington County, Fairfax County, and the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church) and DC.
Randy’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Texas AM University (Magna Cum Laude), a Masters in Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, and a J.D. from the University of Texas Austin School of Law. In addition to his local real estate licenses, Randy has an inactive Texas real estate license and remains an active member of the Texas Bar.
When not working, you can find Randy playing tennis, bowling, or chasing after Kermit and Rico (he is an uncle to two rescue pups). Randy is also a big fan of college sports (Texas AM and the University of Texas) as well as the Houston pro sports teams . . . Astros, Rockets, and Texans!
