"This is the second time my husband and I have worked with Rachel Lasseter, and we couldn't be happier with the job she did both then and now. Her hard work really shows in every aspect of the transaction. She helped us through what our listing price should be, when we should list, and what to do every step of the way. All of her hard work helped us to sell our home in (what we feel) is a record time (4 days) and for an amazing (over-asking) price! I would definitely recommend this lady to help with selling or buying your next home. She won't let you down." ~Kacie Riley, 08/25/2023

"Rachel did an outstanding job in assisting us with the purchase of our new home here in Austin. She was quite knowledgeable as concerns the local market and was responsive to our exact needs. Rachel expedited the closing within three weeks and was critical in helping us make the deadline. She provided us with local inspectors, kept us updated with timelines for document completion;and, was instrumental in educating us as to what was required to purchase a home in Texas. I cannot give her a higher rating than five, but I would give her a ten if allowed." ~Kevin Tauzin, 12/02/2022

"Rachel is awesome. She is professional and super patient. It was a very pleasant experience to buy a home with Rachel's help. She walked us through the whole process, always reminded us of our options where we can shop for different vendors. She is very responsive and has great knowledge about the area. Rachel also helped us to check all the documents, making sure everything is good and accurate. She asked questions on our behalf that we had never thought about. I won't hesitate to ask Rachel's help for our future real estate needs." ~Michael Chang, 07/29/2021

"Rachel has been fantastic. She was both our buying and listing agent. We started our process last fall to find a new home in the same general area. Rachel figured out our preferences quickly and was creative in ultimately helping us find our new home. We visited an open house from Paradisa homes. We loved it, but it was out of our price range. Rachel called the builder and found out he had a new project in our price range. We ended up under contract and thought we'd be closed by late spring. However, COVID-19 disrupted the process, and we just closed last week. Rachel has been very responsive, negotiated new terms for the delayed contract, and got us to the new closing date. We are now in the process of selling our other home. Rachel keeps us organized and offers good advice. I would highly recommend Rachel to a friend and would gladly work with her again." ~Katherine Rosen, 07/08/2020

About Rachel
Rachel Lasseter is a longtime Austinite and a native Texan. She was born in Dallas and grew up in Arlington, home of Texas Rangers baseball. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University and her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Before she became a licensed Realtor, Rachel worked in the nonprofit sector.

As an Associate Broker with Realty Austin | Compass, Rachel expertly assists both buyers and sellers in the Austin area to meet their needs and smoothly navigate their real estate transactions. There are many reasons she enjoys being a real estate professional, but most of all, Rachel truly loves using the skills she learned in social work to ease her clients through the transitions of buying or selling their homes.

Rachel is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. Institute members specialize in the luxury home market and have completed extensive training to build additional competencies unique to the upper-tier arena, which uniquely qualifies her to work with clients in the competitive Central Austin market where she lives and works. In addition, Rachel is a Resort and Second Home Specialist (RSPS), allowing buyers and sellers to have confidence in the ability of a Broker who specializes in buying, selling or management of properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination, and to assist them with their property searches.

Rachel has received her Seller Representative Specialist Designation (SRS) as well, which recognizes real estate professionals who demonstrate the knowledge and skills essential for seller representation. Clients can rest assured that Rachel has the necessary skills and experience to represent the interests of sellers in today's marketplace.

In addition to acquiring her Broker's License, Rachel has also earned her Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designations, which means she is well versed in assisting buyers with the home purchase process. An ABR® has completed advanced training and has proven experience in serving the special needs of buyer clients. This coveted designation demonstrates to peers and consumers her commitment to providing outstanding service for real estate buyers. Rachel and her family have lived in the Rosedale neighborhood since 2013, and she has lived in Central Austin since her college days, notably in the Clarksville/Old West, Far West, and Hyde Park neighborhoods. In her free time she likes to explore Austin, try out new restaurants and local pubs, stand up paddle around Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake or spend time with her dog, Winston, a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix that she adopted from the Austin Animal Center. Rachel is also an avid reader and enjoys needlepoint as well as weight lifting and fitness training. At least once a week, you can find Rachel and her family at Taco Flats on Burnet Road. Rachel is a foodie, so if you need a restaurant recommendation, just ask! On the weekends, she enjoys spending time in the neighborhood or making a trip out to Point Venture to visit family and spend time by Lake Travis!
