Rachel Ivers is an Associate on the Multifamily Investment Sales Team at Compass Commercial, where she partners with Bryan Danforth and Matt Thomson. A key member of Compass Commercial’s Northern California team, Ms. Ivers focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of multifamily investment properties across the San Francisco Peninsula, with a focus on Northern Peninsula markets where she identifies significant opportunities for growth and investment.

With a strong background in investment sales, advisory, and development, Ms. Ivers has been involved in over 7.3 million square feet of real estate transactions valued at more than $2 billion across the United States on behalf of institutional, middle-market, and private clients. Her expertise spans multifamily, retail, and commercial real estate assets, with a focus on investment sales, buy-side advisory, property and portfolio-level analysis and valuation, and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.

Ms. Ivers has a natural knack for connecting with people, which translates seamlessly into her ability to bring buyers and sellers together in the commercial real estate market. The value she brings to her clients lies in her deep understanding of the motivations on both sides of a transaction. This enables her to foster meaningful relationships and provide exceptional insights, uncovering opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Prior to joining Compass Commercial in 2024, Ms. Ivers was an Associate Development Manager with Lendlease, primarily responsible for conducting the development and operational analysis of four corporate development projects across the South Bay/San Jose submarkets, which included identifying over $800 million in cost-savings. She also founded her own real estate consultancy, advising on over $320 million in transactions across the United States. Her previous experience also includes analytical positions with Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. (HFF, now JLL), and Marcus & Millichap in Denver, Colorado.
