Paula Coughlan

Paula Coughlan has worked with a wide range of clientele in her real estate career and takes pride in her mission to provide top-notch service to each and every one. She has been in the customer service and sales industry since she was 16 and has a long-time passion for helping people and understanding their story, their needs, and how best to service them.

Her interest in real estate was piqued when she started working for a real estate attorney after college and learned the legal side of real estate transactions. During this time she worked towards getting her real estate license and shortly after joined Yoreevo, a tech-focused real estate startup that deals with a high volume of clients. She quickly learned the ropes and in just two years, became a top-producing agent at her previous brokerage with over 60 transactions successfully closed.

As a resident of Bushwick for five years, her expertise lies in Brooklyn where she has helped her clients navigate the buying and selling process in an often challenging New York City real estate market. Having recently joined The Golan Team at Compass, she continues to bring her positive attitude, responsiveness, and resourcefulness when assisting clients, old and new. She truly values the importance of maintaining relationships with not only clients but attorneys, inspectors, lenders, and all those involved in a successful transaction.

Paula was born in China and raised in a small town in Massachusetts but has always been drawn to living in the city because of the diversity of cultures and fast-paced environment. Over her 8 years of residency, she’s lived in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn and thoroughly enjoys getting to know the different neighborhoods and people she crosses paths with. When she’s not servicing clients, she enjoys traveling, live music, exploring art exhibits, trying new restaurants, and cooking different cuisines.
