About Paul
Paul Zweben is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker who has been working
in the industry with a specialization in residential sales since 2007.
Paul, along with his wife and business partner, Carolyn, are the lead
agents of the Zweben Team, a consistently ranked top-producing team within
NYC and nationally. Paul's innate people skills and creative marketing
strategies have made him a leader in the industry who is regularly invited
to speak to agents across the country on how to grow and maintain their
business.
Prior to entering the real estate market, Paul worked in the restaurant business for 28 years. He began at age 14 working in a bakery, and after attending college and culinary school, worked his way up to becoming a chef at notable restaurants, including The River Cafe in Brooklyn Heights. In the mid-1990s Paul formed a restaurant partnership, owning and operating 4 upscale restaurants in NYC and one in Washington DC. Since his transition to real estate, he was thrilled to be able to speak at a roundtable of successful chefs at the Inman Connect conference showing how business and marketing strategies are valuable and transferable across disciplines. Paul has always said that the restaurant and real estate industries are very similar. They both require tremendous attention to detail and superior customer service. Today, he enjoys filming cooking videos in kitchens throughout NYC and across the country, in his series, "A Taste of Home" that combines his two biggest passions: real estate and cooking.
A longtime homeowner and board member of a stunning turn-of-the-century cooperative on Riverside Drive, Paul loves the warm and vibrant community of the Upper West Side where he and Carolyn are raising their two children, Olivia and Parker. On long weekends and holidays, he enjoys spending time at their country home in upstate New York to unwind and host friends for casual barbecues. When Paul is not out meeting clients or spending time with his family, he can be found at the boxing gym, The Dogpound, clearing out the cobwebs and keeping his mind focused and energy up for this crazy rollercoaster ride of life.
