Paul Rice, a native Washingtonian, has deep Pacific Northwest roots. After growing up in Seattle and studying theater at Emerson College in Boston, Paul had stints writing for the Seattle Times and The Escapist, before moving to Port Townsend and opening a pinball bar. Eventually he sold his business and pinball machines, and got his real estate license in 2016. His new career flourished, and over eight years later, Paul is still helping clients buy and sell houses, investment homes, businesses, vacant land and commercial property.
Paul’s strengths in real estate lie in his experience in a wide variety of over 150 transactions, excellent communication skills, and positive, friendly attitude. He brings optimism and persistence to every transaction. His wide network ensures that he can find someone to help in any possible scenario, and his dedication to service means he’ll go the extra mile (or acre!) for you and your transaction. Over many years he has built a solid business based completely upon referrals, and loves helping new or repeat clients achieve their real estate goals. He offers his services in five different Washington counties: Jefferson, Kitsap, Snohomish, King and Pierce.
He now lives in Edmonds, Washington with his wife and fellow broker Louisa Cranston and their four children. He loves dreaming about, cooking and eating new foods, and recently hosted a popular radio show called Filter on KPTZ, Port Townsend's community radio station, featuring music and conversation. Paul also loves reading the Sunday New York Times, trail running and hiking in the Olympics.
