Paul Kitchen is a real estate broker-associate and has worked full-time with Team Hatvany for over ten years. After earning his law degree and becoming a member of the California Bar Association, Paul decided to turn his focus towards Real Estate investment and sales. Paul loves to help clients understand each step of the process in their journey to buy and sell properties, and particularly enjoys analyzing and advising on market trends, conditions, pricing strategies, staging and visual presentation considerations, and the myriad nuances of San Francisco purchases and sales. He and the Team work extensively across a broad spectrum of price ranges and locations within San Francisco, including single family homes, condos, TICs, co-ops, and multi-family investment properties.
Paul’s legal background serves as an asset for both buyers and sellers alike. He is keenly tuned in to the ever-changing legal and political landscape in San Francisco. He is also well-versed in the nuances of landlord-tenant law, municipal building codes or decisions from the SF Building Department as they relate to residential use.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Paul is a graduate of Stuart Hall and Urban High School, and is personally and intimately familiar with San Francisco’s neighborhoods. Paul is a member of the California Bar Association, graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Southern California (USC), and earned his law degree from the UCLA School of Law before returning to his hometown. Along with successfully representing buyers and sellers across San Francisco, Paul also founded and directs his own investment fund, managing strategic acquisitions and sales for a number of qualified individuals and trusts.
Paul prides himself on the service he offers to clients. He is straightforward, honest, well connected with a vast array of capable experts in their respective fields, and networked with other agents across the San Francisco and the Bay Area.
In his spare time, Paul is a huge fan of motorsports, and is an avid vintage race car driver himself. If he's not working, Paul can be found racing with groups such as CSRG, HMSA, and SVRA, and is currently racing in the CrossFlow Cup in his 1969 Lotus single seater. Paul and his wife Blair live on the north side of town, where they enjoy time together with their young daughter and son.
