About Paul
Early in life I realized that owning real estate creates a kind of freedom. That’s why I
worked hard as a kid and bought my first property right out of high school. By the time I
was in college I owned three. When I married, I bought again, and over the years, with
investors, I’ve added a full portfolio of residential and commercial buildings.
As a realtor, I have a strong drive to be productive and to use my considerable skills to
help others achieve real estate success too. Here’s a secret: Few people know that in
addition to triathlons, marathons, and parachuting from small planes, I’ve also
performed well in trapeze shows. Really. Flying through the air looks like a huge risk, I
know. But it’s one I took/take? based on hours of practice and an in-depth
understanding of what assures the safest landing. It’s the same with real estate: Today
I manage my own architecture, design and construction crew. Sometimes we take a
leap on fixer-uppers, and we also make it easy for buyers to update their purchases. Is
there a risk? Not really. I’m seasoned. I’m confident. My expertise assures a great
outcome.
Fixing up homes, or renovating them, I’ve helped clients reach their dreams; we add
bedrooms and raise ceilings to specification. I’m often overseeing two to three projects,
each with their own demands. And just as no two renovations are alike, no two home
transactions are alike. I enjoy collaborating with buyers and sellers. And I enjoy a large
number of clients who invest in small multi-unit buildings.
Whether you are investing, buying or selling, you need a collaborator who is agile,
informed and unafraid to be your staunch advocate. As professionally trained contract
negotiator I know what it takes. I honed my negotiation skills in hi-tech, and as an
athlete I know endurance. In real estate it’s not always just about price; there are other
facets of the deal to be considered. (Ask me.)
When not in the field supervising construction or finding properties, I’m outdoors biking
or swimming. As you can tell, I love challenges –– energetic and a natural problem
solver, if “Survivor” called, I’d answer. At the end of a long week, I look forward to a fine
cabernet over dinner with my wife, Paula; I’ve been a wine enthusiast for years. For us,
nothing beats family – our accomplished grown kids, Dane and Taylor, and our dog
Monty, are our greatest joy. We all appreciate Bay Area life, and I am so pleased to help
others discover their home here.
Tenacity, resourcefulness, and knowledge of market trends define my real estate
practice. Do I sound like someone whose background and integrity align with yourneeds? Good! Let’s talk. I look forward to hearing from you.
