Paddington Matz

In her successful real estate career, Paddington Matz became named the 1st year "Rookie of the Year", then TriBeCa "Broker of the Year" and "Top Listing Broker of the Year," a rare accomplishment. Her industry and professionalism have also led her to earn the respect and loyalty of her clients, her greatest reward.

Paddington loves working at Compass, in her office at 32 Avenue of the Americas. Highly self-motivated, with an intuitive intelligence and boundless enthusiasm, Paddington can take a project and run with it to ensure the most satisfying result. Residing in TriBeCa since 1988, she is especially excited  when it comes to serving clients in her favorite "hood"; yet she is equally adept at working in any neighborhood in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx. From lofts to townhouses, and from studios to commercial buildings, Paddington knows and loves doing it all.

Besides the vast resources at her disposal at Compass, Paddington offers her clientele a deep understanding of their needs. She is empathetic towards first time buyers. Paddington thoroughly researches the sources others overlook to guide her customers, whether it's their first one or one of many.  Paddington always has a number of off market deals in her pocket.With her helpful, positive attitude and entrepreneurial skills, she shows people how to get the home of their dreams, stress free and seamlessly.

Having personally bought and sold many of her own properties, Paddington has completed numerous design build projects with her architect partner. She is a wonderful resource for all sorts of trades people, from Contractors to Interior Designers, Plumbers, Electricians, Painters and Expeditors...her contacts are endless.

Originally a New Englander, Paddington is the mother of three bright, vivacious daughters, 2 in graduate school, here and abroad, her youngest finishing up at Cornell , all 3 started at TriBeCa's PS234, then Lemann Prep, Laguardia and Manlius-Pebble Hill . Paddington grew up in the Boston area to academic parents, so finding a school that is the right fit means alot to her and she can be a resource for this as well.
