About Oliver
Oliver brings his professionalism, integrity, diligence, creativity and enthusiasm to every client he serves. From past life and work experiences, he also developed a broad and unique skill set to successfully assist his clients through some complicated real estate transactions. Oliver truly appreciates the financial and emotional aspects of buying, selling, or renting an apartment in Manhattan, he strives to connect with his clients not only on business but also on a human level. His vast market knowledge and compassion for the process is evidenced by the personal referrals and loyalty of customers who are pleased with his service.
Originally born in China, he underwent a rigorous 4 year program and received BA degree in Computer Science from the prestigious Tianjin University, where he developed a keen sense of numbers and a disciplined analytical approach for market research driven by data, this tremendously helped his clients to only make calculated risks and informed decisions. Later he worked at the British fine art auction house Bloomsbury Auctions for 3 years, it is here he refined his aesthetics and tastes, a deeper understanding of diverse cultures which greatly helped his clients with home design, staging and furnishing. Before joining Compass, he worked at another luxury real estate firm representing some prestigious projects like 432 Park Avenue, through drive and quick problem solving ability, he quickly excelled as one of the top agents in office.
Oliver is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, he serves a broad international clientele from China, Taiwan, England and South America. As a proud New Yorker he has lived in different neighborhoods in Manhattan through the years and he appreciates their different characteristics and beauty.
In his spare time Oliver loves to stay fit by playing tennis, swimming, jogging and biking along Hudson river, attends cultural events like concerts and plays at Lincoln Center and Brooklyn Academy of Music, he is also actively involved with some local charity organizations such as Dollars for Scholars who raises scholarship for outstanding Chinese students.
