Danielle Lurie

As Corcoran's 2015 Rookie of the Year, Danielle was the top new agent across all Manhattan Brooklyn she now brings her market savvy serendipity to her work at Compass. A rising star in her field, Danielle has already closed over $74 million of real estate deals across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens.

A Stanford University alumni, Danielle began her career real estate as a financial analyst for the real estate investment trust, AMB, a San Francisco based company. Danielle is licensed in both New York Connecticut works collaboration with Connecticut's top real estate agent, her mother Tamar Lurie, one of Wall Street Journal's Top 100 Real Estate Agents Nationwide, order to offer her clients the most extensive knowledge of Brooklyn, Manhattan, Connecticut.

Danielle founded her team in 2016. Today The Jane Advisory is comprised of six women who share the same commitment to doing business in a warm and people-centered way, a belief that there is magic that happens when women work together, and a collaborative ownership of the team. As with each member of her team, Danielle brings a high level of dedication, passion, integrity - as well as her gift for empathy to each deal - always putting clients’ needs wants first. Danielle is proactive, energized, devoted to finding out-of-the-box solutions for her clients. Dedicated to being up to speed on all currently available properties – even before many hit the market – Danielle will do what it takes to help her client’s dreams come true.

A big supporter of women across all industries, Danielle is the founder of WIREC - Women in Real Estate Collective, an all-inclusive collective of women working in real estate across New York which meets monthly to help support each other to grow their business, putting competition aside.

Previously, Danielle spent fifteen years working as an activist writer director the Hollywood film industry, focusing primarily on both women’s animal rights as well as on climate change prevention. Danielle’s documentary work has led her to make films war-torn Uganda, as well on tour with Grammy Winner Sheryl Crow. Her fiction work has screened at top film festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca and has lead Danielle to work with major studios and Oscar winning actors.

At Stanford, Danielle played Varsity Lacrosse and performed with Stanford’s Improve Troup. Danielle has lived in Japan, Germany, England, Spain, and Australia. In her spare time, Danielle loves photography, running, swimming, practicing yoga, and eating every vegan meal she possibly can at either Nix, Hangawi, or Peacefoods.

A true New Yorker, Danielle has lived in SoHo, the East Village, Williamsburg, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Bushwick, Bed Stuy and currently lives on the Upper West Side with her partner and her 9-year-old step daughter. She is expecting a baby girl this fall and couldn’t be more excited for this newest team member to arrive.
