About Nichole

A mid-westerner, I grew up outside of Chicago and have a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois. In 1997 I moved to Boston to complete an internship with Mass General Hospital and Harvard. After graduation, I stayed at MGH five years, met my first husband, and fell in love with the area.

After MGH I got into sales at GE Medical Systems (my first experience with very big-ticket items!). My husband and I were both doing lots of traveling when we found out I was pregnant. We had two boys extremely close together (15 months apart!) so I stayed home (and exhaustion multiplied!)

In Somerville we bought a home, a Greek Revival on the National Historic Register, and I became immersed in the city’s Historic Commission as we were restoring it. That led to being appointed by the mayor to the Commission which I sat on for three years before I moved out of Somerville. It was this experience that sparked my interest in real estate.

Having now remarried to a “Savenor,” I have a local culinary connection, too. Savenor’s is a famous butcher shop and market in Cambridge (and Boston) thanks to my husband’s gregarious father, Jack, and his close friendship with Julia Child.

I am past president of the Cambridge Community of Realtors and still an officer there. Through this organization I know just about everyone in the local business community since I have to ask for contributions every year to reach our ambitious and necessary fundraising goals. We support “Our Place,” a daycare center for homeless children in Cambridge’s Central Square.

This is me in a nutshell. If you need client referrals I’m happy to connect you.

I know the market, I know I can achieve your real estate goals, and I would be honored to help.
