"Nathalie is everything you could hope for and more in a real estate agent! She is incredibly friendly, attentive, thoughtful, and customer-oriented. She listened carefully to what we were looking for in a home so that we didn't waste time looking at properties that wouldn't be a good fit. When we found the perfect home just a few weeks into our search, she was patient, practical, and goal-oriented as we went through the process of making an offer and negotiating with the seller. Her explanations were incredibly clear and easy to understand. She was supportive and helpful throughout the process, including bringing me chocolate when she could tell I was stressed out by it all! Now that I'm settling in to my new home, I want to express my deep gratitude to Nathalie and recoomend her enthusiastically to anyone considering buying or selling a property. Nathalie is truly a champion!" - Maya

"I would recommend Nathalie in a heartbeat to anyone looking to purchase a home in Hawaii! From the very start, Nathalie was genuine and forthcoming and I could feel how much she loved her job. As a first time home buyer, embarking on this process can be scary but Nathalie provided me with all of the information I needed to know, was always honest about all of my options and assisted me in the decision making process every step of the way. She was immediately responsive anytime I needed anything and she was a fighter where she needed to be, shielding me from many of the unpleasant parts of the home buying journey. She was as excited as I was when I finally purchased my new home and it is clear to see why she loves her job, she is a natural born helper! Not only did I walk away with an amazing new home but I also left with a wonderful new friend!" - Erin

"Nathalie did a wonderful job. She was thorough in her explanations and walking us through the process. When we had questions, she took time to answer and explain whatever we were wondering. It was clear that she wanted us to get through this process as stress-free as possible, and with her attention to detail, consistent communication, and genuine interest in our needs and desires, this happened. Thank you, Nathalie, for a wonderful experience and for helping us get an absolutely amazing house!" - Sara

"Nathalie is terrific! She did a wonderful job pricing and staging our condo for selling, promoting and showing it, and keeping the sale moving through escrow. She got us $25,000 over the asking price. She was very clear and responsive to all of our questions and was positive throughout all the ups and downs of selling. Work with Nathalie and you'll be happy!" - Will

She graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. After enduring several Alaskan winters working in her field, Nathalie headed to Santa Fe, NM, where she ran the financial operations of a major art gallery for over 12 years. Afterwards, she and the love of her life moved their furry and feathered ohana across the ocean to honor her island roots and be closer to family in Hawaii, where she enjoys hiking, yoga, and beachy activities.

Nathalie’s favorite topics of conversation and contemplation are higher self-love, consistent remembrance and refinement of one’s ideal, and continuously updating dead imagery to improve your reality.

Champion Chocolate Chunk Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Due to popular demand from my wonderful, deeply appreciated, locally based clients who get a bag of these for the holidays, here is the recipe for my highly addictive chocolate chunk pumpkin spice cookies:

Wet ingredients:
16 tbls. salted butter (that’s 2 sticks)
1 1/2 cups organic cane sugar or turbinado sugar
2 eggs
1 heaping tbsp vanilla extract

Dry ingredients:
2 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt, allspice, cinnamon
1/4 tsp clove or nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tbsp turmeric
1 1/2 10oz bags Safeway Organics bittersweet 72% chocolate chunks
1/2 cup chopped walnuts if you like nuts

pinch of sea salt for seasoning dough just before baking

Yields about 4 1/2 dozen cookies (if you make the balls of dough about the size of a ping pong ball).

Set the butter out on your counter to soften up or microwave to soften if you’re in a hurry to make the dough
Whisk all dry ingredients and set aside. Put chocolate chips and walnuts into dry ingredients last, mix well.
Mix sugar and butter well in another, larger bowl until it forms a thick paste
Add eggs and vanilla, beat until it’s a little fluffy
Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients and mix until you form the cookie dough, but don’t overmix or cookies can get tough.
Let dough cool in fridge overnight, or at least 4 hours. When you’re ready to bake, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Spoon out dough onto the pans, sprinkling sea salt to taste, cook for 13-15 minutes, and try not to eat as many cookies as I always do!
