About Mony
It would be an honor to serve you and your family!
Established in 2007, Mony Nop has been serving the Tri-Valley area, earning a reputation as one of the region's most reliable, respected, and experienced agents. With a track record of over 400 homes bought and sold, totaling over $300 million in residential sales, Mony combines his extensive knowledge of local neighborhoods with savvy marketing strategies and exceptional negotiation skills to consistently deliver top-notch results for his clients.
Under his guidance, homes typically sell for an average of 5-10% over the listing price and spend less than 10 days on the market. Impressively, more than 85% of Mony's business stems from referrals and repeat customers, underscoring his proven track record and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Mony's journey to success is rooted in a challenging childhood marked by extreme hardship. Surviving the Killing Fields of Cambodia, he spent five years in refugee camps in Thailand and the Philippines before arriving in the U.S., where he initially worked as a child laborer in a migrant camp. Despite these obstacles, Mony persevered, eventually becoming a police officer and dedicating 17 years to the Livermore Police Department. He furthered his education, earning a degree in business management from St. Mary’s College, leading to a successful transition into a career in real estate. Mony attributes his ability to navigate the complexities of buying and selling homes to his difficult upbringing and law enforcement background.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mony actively engages with his community. He serves as the Coordinator of the Las Positas College President’s Scholars Program, a member of the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley, a board member at Caring for Cambodia, an international nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, and is the Co-Founder of the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance, an organization dedicated to assisting over 500 local nonprofit organizations in achieving their missions.
