About Monique
A fifth-generation Californian and third-generation native Angeleno, Monique Carrabba is an accomplished Realtor with vast local knowledge. Monique grew up in Toluca Lake, moved to Hancock Park, then purchased her first home at the age of 24 in Echo Park as she was determined to never to be a renter. Soon after, in 2005, she formed the Carrabba Group with her husband, Joe Carrabba.
Though buying and selling a home can be a difficult and stressful time of your life, Monique knows it doesn’t have to be. She goes above and beyond to make the process as stress-free as possible, offers guidance without pressuring clients and secures the best price.
This commitment to go the extra mile can mean scheduling repairs, staging homes or holding estate sales. Monique even once drove an elderly seller and her two cats to Wichita, Kansas, when her car broke down. A home is often the biggest investment most of us will ever make, so Monique does whatever it takes to ensure things go smoothly—even after the transaction has closed.
Monique knows what sells and what doesn’t. Prior to listing your home for sale, she’ll suggest necessary improvements to increase property value and marketability. If you’re a buyer, Monique will assist you with budgeting whether the home requires extensive renovations or minor improvements. She’ll conduct a thorough market analysis and guide you on pricing and offer amounts to ensure that you’re not selling yourself short or overpaying for a property. Honest and direct, Monique will advise you on times to buy, sell or wait.
Prior to her real estate days, Monique worked in human resources and accounting at Art Center College of Design and later at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Monique loves what she does and is always honored when chosen to work with a client. Whether it’s an oceanfront estate in Malibu, a fixer-upper in West Adams or Mid-City, a home in Silver Lake or a property in the Valley, she serves diverse clients in a wide range of price ranges and areas.
But don’t just take our word for it. Check out our reviews on Zillow and Yelp.
