About Mikaela
Mikaela, a Washington native, plays a major role in this formable Mother/Daughter team. As a proud member of the Compass family, Mikaela carries the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service into everything she does. The team would not function without her immense organizational and strong leadership skills. Managing client remodels, acting as a liaison between our contractors and homeowners. Scheduling team meetings, tricky open house weekends, fun team building outings, client appreciation events, photo shoots, you name it! She makes the stuff happen!
She’s been running around real estate offices since the age of 10 and recalls sorting all the MLS forms when they were paper. By age 15 she knew most of the forms by their number (i.e. form 17, 21, 35), etc. They say you need 90 hours of instruction in order to take the real estate exam. However, it’s possible in her lifetime she’s had over 400,000 hours of real estate exposure from contract negotiation, land acquisition, marketing, staging, basic handyman work and conflict resolution. Even her Dad is in the Real Estate industry, but as a commercial developer – We can safely say Real Estate is in her blood.
Mikaela has always loved the fast paced life. She credits her strong demeanor to the lessons learned from her soccer coaches and time on the pitch. Transitioning in her teens, she picked up a love for horses; learning a whole new set of life lessons. Especially in the show jumping ring, where humility could get the best of anyone. Fun fact, she has the ability to back a 30-foot travel trailer into a camping spot with ease. Skills!
When Mikaela isn’t making homeownership dreams come true for our clients, she spends countless hours volunteering for nonprofits near and dear to her heart, including Washington DECA and the Empower Youth Network. In her spare time you can find her at the barn with her horses, wine tasting, traveling or playing adult soccer.
