I ended up as a client of Michele's through circumstance that I wanted to put an offer on a property but was so early on in the home buying process that I didn't yet have a realtor. "Wow! I had the smoothest, easiest, and most pleasant selling experience of my life working with Michele. I knew right away that working with Michele would be a very different experience than I've had in the past when she created a listing calendar and hired people for me to take care a few things around my condo (that needed to be dealt with prior to selling). She found and booked a handyman, a cleaner, and a stager for me, and was even willing to be there to let them in. My gosh. I've never had a realtor offer to do that before! Plus she is highly communicative, ethical, and really cares about doing business is an honest, fair, up-front way. "What a pleasure working with Michele and discovering new possibilities that I hadn't realized before. I had been in the market as a buyer for several months in 2018 and started with another realtor (not Michele) whose ethics didn't quite align with my values. After entering and canceling contracts twice for various reasons, I decided to find a new realtor, at which point I came across Michele on Yelp! Michele exemplified professionalism, ethical practice and direct communication from the get go. In the competitive Bay Area market with insane gentrification, I wanted to be conscious of the impact of my choices on the housing crisis. Michele shared much of that value and knew the local markets inside out. As a top agent, she leveraged her connections to realtors and contractors to facilitate my buying process. It also helped that I'm a queer woman and Michele is an LGBT advocate! Michele listened and dissected my wishes patiently. I am someone who tends to over-analyze, so the TLC part and probate aspect made me somewhat nervous. We ended up closing the deal at asking price, leaving my enough budget for home renovations. Michele also referred me to an excellent list of contractors, since I'm new to the Bay Area and didn't have much connections. As I type, I have already hired contractors to perform seismic retrofit, plumbing and electrical upgrades. To deem cost savings, I'm playing the role of a general contractor in coordinating the work and applying for permits. It's nerve-wracking when things go wrong, but Michele has been checking in with me and providing suggestions and help even after the purchase. "Michele came highly recommended from friends of friends and we couldnāt be happier. Not only did we want an agent who was savvy in this crazy market of ours, but we also wanted one who was friendly, compassionate, and especially patient with our novice questions, worries and needs.
