Michael Morrissey

Michael grew up in Rhode Island but he has called Mystic his home for nearly thirty years. Anyone who knows him will attest that he considers South Eastern Connecticut to be a fantastic place to live. From its long and rich history, beautiful scenery, and ease and accessibility to neighboring beaches and restaurants this is the place to be.

Michael is a graduate of the SCSU and UConn. He has most recently worked in the field of environmental sustainability and he is excited to have made the transition into real estate.

My biggest passion is by far the study of history. Although this passion is not limited to Southern New England, this area certainly plays a key role in the formation of this great country. Native American history, the first great awakening, the war of 1812, and Mystic as a nineteenth-century ship-building community are just a few examples of how this area has been a hub of who we were and who we are today as a region from this past. My experience is that people enjoy having historical knowledge of the community they are so invested in making their home. 

What is most important in the process or buying or selling a home is listening, this aids both myself and the person I am working for find a home they can live in for years to come. 

When Michael is not working he can be found working out, playing golf, or skiing.
