He uses creative and innovative marketing, implementing cutting edge technologies, social media, as well as his own extensive database to gain the maximum exposure for his exclusive listings. Because of his unique background he is able to guide his buyers through the entire process, having worked on every aspect of a residential real estate transaction from attorney to broker. His long standing and strong relationships with managing agents, top real estate attorneys, co-op board members and other brokers ensures a seamless transaction from start to finish.
Michael was born in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. After finishing college and law school with honors he moved to New York City to attend New York University Law School where he earned an LLM (Masters Degree) in Taxation Law. Upon graduation he stayed in New York to pursue a career in Real Estate and Tax Law. He worked at various large law and accounting firms and on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch before launching his own successful law practice where he represented high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients in tax and real estate matters. He has represented over 1,500 buyers and sellers of residential real estate in New York City. Michael has lived most of his years in New York in Chelsea and the West Village and currently resides in a cooperative on the Upper West Side and East Hampton. Outside of work, Michael sits on several boards including his own cooperative and The Theodore Roosevelt Park Neighborhood Association and supports various charitable organizations, including the Central Park Conservancy, Friends of Roosevelt Park, and the ASPCA.
