Melanie Fontana is currently the Managing Director for San Diego and a founding sales manager directly involved in the launch of the San Diego region of Compass. Melanie is a broker associate with over 20 years of experience and deep knowledge of the continually evolving real estate market. She has a proven record of business development and coaching resulting in the annual growth of her team, currently producing over $2B per year. Melanie is adept is setting sales targets and monitoring performance metrics to ensure individual growth while balancing the company targets.
Melanie has strong personal communication and collaboration working closely with internal support teams of marketing, product development, and agent experience to enhance the success of every agent. Her ability to maintain key relationships within the company and within her team drives growth by identifying business opportunities.
Melanie is also a coach within the national Compass Academy team at Compass, providing strategies to implement the tools and uncovering the "why" behind the technology.
