Seattle is an extremely competitive market, so when we found our house on a late Sunday afternoon we firmly believed we had missed our chance. Rather than letting the opportunity slip by, Amie followed up with the seller’s realtor and learned that we could still make a competitive offer.

I really have to give mad kudos to Amie and Kelley for this— we wavered for an hour or two before deciding to submit an offer. That meant they had less than an hour to assemble and submit the offer before the seller was supposed to review. But they did it, and Amie was an incredible advocate for us. About 3 hours after making the *decision* to submit an offer … we got the house. Buying a home has been a whirlwind for us. From start to finish, it’s happened much faster than we had expected or planned for. Just two weeks before we found the house, we met Kelley for the very first time to have an educational meeting about the home buying process. Kelley and Amie did their best to make sure that we understood the ins-and-outs of what we were about to experience. Without that process in place, we would not have been comfortable moving forward so quickly.

Even so, being first time home buyers, we had a ton of questions, concerns, doubts that didn’t stop once we were under contract. But at no point did Amie or Kelley show any kind of impatience, even though we knew at times we were asking repeat questions. We have continued to get their full support during the closing period and a few hiccups related to inspection. Even now that the house is ours, they’ve sent follow up emails to check how we’re doing."
