About Max
Max pairs a formal background in finance and commercial real estate with a childhood of following his parents as they worked in residential real estate.  Having completed many renovations, Max has built an understanding of how projects get done, and problem-solving skills. Even though early in his career, Max has already worked with a number of high-net-worth clientele and is familiar with the luxury market. He believes that the relationship is more important than the transaction, and finding the right investment/perfect home for his client is the number one priority.

When Max isn't working he enjoys cooking for friends and spending time in his gardens. As the son of two immigrants, family is not nearby, so his friends have become his family. These relationships he has built are the most important thing to Max and help make him a better agent

Client Testimonials

"Working with Max at Compass has been an absolute pleasure! From start to finish and beyond, we are so fortunate to have had the guidance of Max throughout the process. My husband and I appreciated all the effort and time that was spent by the team on our perfect first home search. From viewings to negotiations to closing - you want to use them! I know we only just purchased a home, but we will definitely be using them in the future too! Thank you to Max, Lindsey and Daniel - we appreciate you so much!"

"As first-time homebuyers, we didn't exactly know what we were doing...and Max, Daniel and the team were truly amazing in shepherding us through the process. They helped with the traditional things like showings and and advice, and they were instrumental in getting us to the finish line on a new build in NW DC that we saw before it was even listed. What's more, they went above and beyond to help us navigate some of the stickier items, like the financing, the appraisal, and the handling of a difficult closing situation with the sellers and the city. Can not recommend this team more strongly - A+ and then some. The team is full of excellent agents of course - but also very decent and genuine people who we now call our friends. Thanks again team!"

"Moving to an old folks home once one reaches 80 is a pretty traumatic experience but Max and Daniel held my hand and coached me to bid farewell to my beloved Beekman Place condo after living there over 20 years and loving every minute but I found I could no longer physically navigate the steps. Rather than roll their eyes at how dated the unit had become, they both offered incredibly useful suggestions as to what needed to be renovated, found me the best moving company in the area that handled my artwork with care, put no pressure on me timewise so that I could pack based on my own schedule, found an outstanding renovation crew to update and modernize my unit that has one of the best views of the US Capitol and the Washington Monument in all of DC, found a staging company that would put the best face possible on the completed unit, offered me updates on its progress and best of all, never made me feel like a bother when I needed a quick question answered or wanted another word of advice about the sale. They are honest, they know the real estate market so well and Max has a vested interest in Beekman because he own two units there and sits on the BOD as Treasurer. What more can any homeowner ask for in a realtor?"
