About Matthew
The desire to help people find their dream home runs through Matt Schorr’s veins. He was born into a real estate family that has been serving the Lake Tahoe community since 1981, and he carries on a legacy of excellence, professionalism, and transparency. Whether this is your first home or you’ve been around the block a time or two, Matt will ensure that your experience is guided with the utmost care and accuracy.

From his childhood on the lakes’ east shore until now, Matt has always loved being a Lake Tahoe native. He has spent much of his life skiing, snowmobiling, and biking through the picturesque mountains and continues to soak up every ounce of adventure Tahoe’s active lifestyle offers. Having earned a baccalaureate degree from California Polytechnic State University in Finance, the skills Matt sharpened here have proved to be pivotal assets to his clients.

He launched his real estate career when he moved north to San Francisco and joined a real estate development program, skyrocketing to his place as one of the top producing agents in the San Francisco Bay Area. Matt returned to his hometown in 2019 where he’s able to provide detailed area insights from a firsthand perspective to each client. Cumulatively, Matt has sold nearly $80M in closed sales since the start of his career, between the Bay Area and Tahoe. Leaning on his background in finance and burning passion for the industry, Matt prides himself on his professionalism, consideration, and care for each client during the buying or selling process.
