About Matt
Matt is a perpetual learner and challenges
himself to go above and beyond for his clients.
He derives great satisfaction from helping
others achieve their real estate goals, whether
buying or selling a personal home or an
investment property.
Recognized as an Austin top agent in multiple categories including Platinum Top 50 three years in a row, Matt attributes his success to his people, analytical and negotiation skills honed over decades of business and military experience. Originally from Southern California, Matt headed to the east coast to attend the U.S. Naval Academy. He served in the United States Navy for five years before going to the University of Michigan to complete an MBA. His first role after business school was with a top-tier management consulting firm where he advised large corporations and sharpened his business skills.
Tired of living out of a suitcase and ready to put down roots, Matt bought his first Austin property in 2004 and went to work at Dell where he served in a variety of strategic roles. After dabbling in a few personal real estate investment projects, he realized he not only had a knack for real estate – but he really enjoyed it. That spurred him to get his real estate license and transition into real estate full time. He has not looked back since!
Matt is active in his local church and volunteers with civic and philanthropic organizations such as Leadership Austin and Mobiles Loaves and Fishes. While Matt is in Austin you can find him, wife Ali, and their chocolate lab, Rigby, enjoying walks in the Zilker neighborhood and swimming at Barton Springs. Or, he is traveling the world enjoying his life-long passion… surfing.
