"I’d describe Matt as sensible, straightforward, and strategic. I felt comfortable relying on him for the sale, including scheduling, showing, staging, and negotiations.

I’ve bought and sold with him once each. When I bought, a friend introduced us, and when I sold it started with him asking me if I would consider selling; it turned out to be great timing, and I give him credit for that. Buying was a breeze, with options lined up and advice on what to look out for. When selling, we encountered many issues, but he was very helpful with being present when I couldn’t be there, hashing through options and possibilities, and speaking with others involved in the process. He’ll always find ways to help you. He compiled all the offers so I could easily compare and make a decision. He couldn’t give me legal or tax advice (that’s not what agents do), but he told me he couldn’t, and connected me to folks who could, if needed. Honestly, I’m not sure if all agents would be as flexible or as considerate as he was.

He worked for his commission: I remember a neighbor sold with an online platform, with all-inclusive repairs/staging for a lower commission rate (something like half) – but we sold at a higher price, so it more than paid off. Needless to say, I’m happy I stuck with Matt!"
