Mary Clare grew up in Austin, TX and has been engaged in the community for the past 20 years. Her diverse business background in real estate development makes her uniquely qualified to serve her clients’ needs and guide them through every aspect of the sales process.
From buying, selling and leasing multi-million dollar homes with her husband and business partner in Colorado, California and Texas - to building and overseeing the finish out of the Pond Hockey Club and marketing its youth and adult programming, Mary Clare has worn many hats in her professional career.

Additionally, Mary Clare is passionate about the Austin community and participates philanthropically in various organizations, specifically chairing events, raising funds and consulting non-profits on organizational structure.

2406 Sweetbrush Dr
This was our primary residence for 15 years. We changed the original Georgian-style exterior to a slurried brick finish, one of the first homes in Austin to have this finish. We contracted a Houston Metalsmith to build all of our exterior doors metal doors and the interior space was designed by Mali Design. Texas Construction Company did the work on this residence and it was featured in Austin Home. It was a fantastic entertaining house: we hosted family gatherings, non profit parties, and most holiday celebrations at this home. On this street lived 15 retrievers at one point- all had free reign of the neighborhood and would visit each other frequently. We sold this house when our last child left for school and this sale was used as a comp for several sales in the neighborhood that set record price per square foot numbers in Austin.

1 Sundown Parkway
My buyer on this property was an investor couple who were looking at including real estate in their portfolio. Sundown Parkway is one of my favorite streets in Westlake. It is also one of the oldest! This home had fallen out of contract on the private market, and I felt like it was underpriced. It was a very unique property with a ton of potential. My buyer bought it and rented it out for a year and then I secured an offer from a colleague who had a client looking for a property just like this! They submitted an offer my clients could not refuse. It was an incredible investment!

I helped dear friends and first time home buyers purchase this property in May of 2020, which was a very uncertain time. They moved in and furnished this home perfectly. Two years later they realized they were not spending that much time in Austin and decided to sell it. Their timing was incredible! This home is on one of the most sought after streets in Austin and you just can't go wrong on this location!
