About Martha

Martha brings a multifaceted skill set to the practice of real estate sales and embraces the natural movement of the market by focusing on each individual client’s personal goals, timeline, and investment preferences. No matter if you are just starting out, or buying your tenth property, Martha is there to meet you with the experience and professionalism she has honed over the years.

As a 20+ year resident of Philadelphia who was educated in the arts, and worked in many industries from marketing to bookbinding, Martha came to real estate by way of exploring her city and the potential of so many of its’ historic and post-industrial buildings. As co-founder of Little Berlin gallery, she breathed life into forgotten spaces and built community in the Olde Kensington/Fishtown neighborhood. The networks she formed through the arts still inform her values and vision to this day and are an extensive human resource that constantly inspires her.

The homebuying process eventually led Martha to invest in her first home in Germantown where the slower pace, historic foundation, and green spaces of Northwest Philadelphia are enchanting and unique. Martha found it the perfect place to start a family and dig deep into the strategies behind successful real estate investing. It wasn’t long before she purchased her second property, a long-neglected Victorian beauty, and began an all-encompassing top to bottom renovation to restore and modernize the home while putting down even deeper roots in the Penn-Knox neighborhood. Since then she has purchased several long-term rental properties in Philadelphia and Delaware County and become a full-time Realtor dedicated to serving the needs of her clients. Outside of work she continually finds new ways to actively serve her community, connect neighbors and clients to resources, find creative outlets, and spend time with her two children. She has educated hundreds of homebuyers at local first-time buyer workshops, is a member of the Penn-Knox Neighborhood Association, and plays viola in the Abington Symphony and several local string ensembles. She sits on the board of directors of Germantown United CDC as Treasurer. Between showings, settlements, and appointments, you can find her talking to her plants at the Penn-Knox Community Garden.
