About Martha
One of Boston Magazine's Top Real Estate Producers for the 2020 calendar year, Martha's story is one that paints a picture filled with determination and perseverance. With origins in education - she received her master's degree in Counseling and Guidance - Martha began a nine-year teaching career working with special needs children in Connecticut and Massachusetts. During this time, she acquired her real estate license and began selling in her hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. She joined the Dunlap Gallery of Homes on the Boston Post Road and sold properties throughout Fairfield County.
With 11 moves of her own throughout her lifetime (including Zurich, Switzerland) Martha and her family settled in Dover, Massachusetts in 1993. She immediately became active with the various parent groups within the school system and as an avid equestrian, became a member of Tanheath Hunt Club, and eventually a member of Norfolk Hunt Club in 1994. She and her daughter; "evented" and "fox hunted” together and continued to build strong ties to the community.
With the experience of moving so frequently and her equestrian background, Martha blended her knowledge and passion and incorporated it into the real estate community of Dover. Having spent 12 years at Dover Country Properties, she often earned the rank of the top-selling and listing broker in the region. In 2012, Martha joined Landmark Residential, bringing with her twenty years of experience. In 2017, she found a home with Robert Paul Properties where she has been able to continue specializing in country homes in Dover Sherborn while also exploring new opportunities in surrounding markets.
Martha possesses working experience in all price ranges. From quaint 2-bedroom condos in Natick, picturesque seaside homes in Marblehead, and 40-acre equestrian properties in Dover-Sherborn, she is ready to help her clients however and wherever she can. Over the years, she has established a tremendous networking system with brokers from all over and she prides herself on maintaining a strong commitment to her clients, as well as relationships in every aspect of her profession. In addition to her full-time career as a Realtor, Martha continues to be an active member of the Norfolk Hunt Club and serves as a Corporate Trustee for the Trustees of Reservations, and a member of the Charles River Valley Property Committee. Her passions include family activities with her five granddaughters and training her German Shepherd.
These days, Martha "Marty" Bohlin is often considered to be synonymous with Dover-Sherborn. Ranked as Robert Paul's top agent of 2019 for the entire Greater Boston territory, Marty has spent the past several years building an empire. Her efforts in establishing the Robert Paul brand in the territory were proven fruitful in closing nearly 32 million dollars in sales for the 2019 calendar year, and 50 million over the past 13 months.
Recently becoming a Managing Director with Compass, Martha & her daughter Anna, are excited about charging into the 2021 real estate market.
