About Mark
Mark Stornetta is a hard-working, creative and results-driven REALTOR®. A Sonoma resident for more than 40 years, Mark’s connection to the community and land runs as deep and strong as the vines in this world-renowned wine-producing region.

An enthusiastic early riser, Mark starts his day with an eye on the details of each of his transactions, checking in with his clients and exhibiting the sincerity, warmth and respect that are the hallmarks of his business. Mark works primarily by referral, and his clients say that it’s the combination of his honest, grounded professionalism mixed with his knowledge of and experience in the local market that make his service so extraordinary.

Mark’s roots in Sonoma and Napa counties are intrinsically tied to the local wine industry business and culture. He started his career as a Farm Credit loan officer and branch manager before becoming general partner and CFO at Glen Ellen Winery. Later, he joined Gundlach Bundschu Winery as CFO. Now he brings his industry-based expertise in finance, sales and marketing to his clients at Compass REALTORS®.

Mark lives in Sonoma with his wife, Pat, where they enjoy sharing their favorite parts of wine country living—cooking and entertaining at home, dancing and hiking. They have four adult children and six grandchildren.
