About Margaret
Margaret is a well respected Realtor® within the real estate community in Newton and Brookline. Margaret started her real estate career at Coldwell Banker in Newton Centre, spent 8 years at Sotheby’s International Realty as a Vice President, and joined Compass as a founding member of Compass in Chestnut Hill. Her prior career on Wall Street at both Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers allows Margaret to understand the impact the financial markets and other economic indicators have on the real estate market. Margaret has a very strong sense of what buyers and sellers want; mostly because she listens. Real Estate transactions can be filled with snags and Margaret’s personable nature and strong negotiating skills keeps the process moving forward.
Margaret has served on the City-Wide Crisis team and assisted in numerous fundraising events for Newton schools and Families First. She was a Board Member of the Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA), a former member of the National Association of Securities Dealers, a current member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, and a Boston Top 20, WSJ top producer, and Boston Magazine.
Margaret and her family moved to Newton in 1993 from New Jersey so she understands the complexities of relocating first hand. Both of her children attended Newton Public Schools.
