Marel, is absolutely the most gifted and professional realtor out there and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Regardless she pushed and got me a viewing before they had even cleaned the place to start showings. This gave me a significant advantage in not entering a bidding war, and I have little doubt is what got me into my first home! She is always very prompt in responding to all forms of communication, and while she is knowledgeable, she was quick to find answers to any questions she didn't know (I had A LOT of questions). As a San Diego native, Marel is passionate about helping clients find their very own piece of America’s Finest City to call home. She is focused on educating and empowering her clients throughout the entire process of selling or buying a home. Marel brings extensive knowledge in real estate and her ability to listen to each clients’ needs and negotiate the best deal possible puts her above the competition. In 2023, Marel was awarded the prestigious 30 Under 30 award by the San Diego Association of Realtors, as well as receiving Silver status placing her in the top 5% of all real estate agents in San Diego. Additionally, Marel is an Accredited Buyer Representative and Military Relocation Professional (NAR). In 2021, she was also nominated as a Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association, coaching a team of women to raise funds for local research and development.

Leading by example for her clients, Marel started her real estate portfolio at age 25 after purchasing a multi-family property in North Park. After owner-occupying the duplex for one year, she purchased her second property, a single family home in Del Cerro, at age 26. Then, at age 27, she added her third property to her portfolio, a duplex in Hillcrest. Marel now property manages all of her rentals which include 3 long-term rentals and 1 short-term furnished rental.

In addition to her passion for real estate, Marel also loves interior design and has designed the remodels for all 3 properties and freelances for clients. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Marel worked in the fitness industry helping clients achieve their goals and coached competitive soccer. As a collegiate award winning athlete, over a decade in competitive sports and multiple bodybuilding competitions, she is no stranger to hard work and dedication and will turn that same drive into ensuring her clients get the house of their dreams.

Marel has a Communications degree from San Diego State University. In her free time, you can find her traveling, at the gym, visiting new restaurants around San Diego, diving into a good book, shopping, and hanging out with her Goldendoodle River.
