Born and raised in South Africa, Mareijke moved to the San Francisco Bay Area over 20 years ago, where she worked in Corporate Finance and Accounting in Silicon Valley. She transitioned to real estate sales after her family started buying rental properties and saw first hand how it shifted her financial trajectory. She now helps others achieve what she was able to do through homeownership and real estate investing.

She shares her life with her loving husband and a furry companion, their beloved mini-poodle, Shadow. In her free time, she can often be found indulging in her favorite adrenaline-pumping hobbies, such as downhill mountain biking and skiing. Additionally, she serves on the board of Berkeley Humane, and her church, to give back to the community she calls home.
