About Marcello
With over 20 years of experience as a general contractor and builder, Marcello has never been your standard-issue real estate agent. He brings a unique set of tools and knowledge beyond what is typical for a real estate agent. His extensive expertise in all facets of building/construction, zoning/land use, & interior design – as well as real estate investment makes him an invaluable asset to his clients by his being able to provide a truly comprehensive analysis of any type of property his clients may be looking at.
Beyond real estate, Marcello has a deep connection with Chicago’s arts and culture scene, having served on the junior boards of Goodman Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, and the Auxiliary Board of Steppenwolf.
His travels to and exploration of over 50 countries give him a unique ability to appreciate new cultures, histories & cuisines. He also enjoys running, yoga and strength training – all of which keep him balanced and connected to the community.
Being of service to others matters to Marcello—he was the first-ever male volunteer at the domestic violence shelter Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC), advocating for those in need and helping create safe spaces for survivors. Marcello lives in Logan Square and especially enjoys dining at all the great neighborhood restaurants in his free time.
