Lynn was born in Santiago, Chile and grew up in South San Francisco. She moved to East Bay in 1989. She often collaborates with her husband, a licensed electrical contractor, to help clients with their home renovation questions. When not working, she can be found hiking, spending time with her husband and daughters, in her studio creating ceramic pieces and oil on canvas paintings.
