Luke Anderson is a Principal at Compass and prides herself on her charismatic persona, unparalleled work ethic, and her astute knowledge of luxury real estate. With her real estate acumen and professional experience in both the finance and startup realms, combined with her team’s collaborative efforts and formidable network, Anderson is uniquely positioned to serve both clients and colleagues with industry-leading tactics.
Prior to joining Compass, Anderson spent five years working alongside Hilton & Hyland CEO Jeff Hyland, where she was involved in more than $3 billion in residential sales. Before launching her real estate career, Anderson served as a Financial Advisor Associate at Morgan Stanley for 12 years.
Anderson began her professional career as one of the first 20 employees at eBay, helping develop the company’s world-renowned Customer Support Division in her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah. This ignited her passion for working with startups and entrepreneurs in the financial arena, which eventually landed her in business development in Los Angeles at Pacificor LLC—a registered investment advisor that manages several hedge funds whose investors include high net-worth individuals and institutions. Luke’s extensive experience working for several of the most successful leaders of Fortune 500 companies led her to her true passion: connecting buyers and sellers in real estate.
Aside from her present role in real estate, Luke is fully immersed in local philanthropy efforts. She serves as a Patron of the Friends of Robinson Gardens and The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art - Southern California Chapter, and likewise supports The Midnight Mission, which works with L.A.’s homeless on Skid Row to reestablish them as useful and self-respecting citizens, and the Boys and Girls Club, which inspires and enables young kids and teens to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring individuals.
When Luke isn’t spending time with her husband and daughter, she also enjoys running, golfing and Pilates. She has long maintained a passion for the arts as she began ballet at the age of four and performed for several ballet companies, later employing her dance skills to become an NFL Cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders.
