Lisa Tanous

Lisa Tanous has built a diverse career and strong community presence after moving to Tampa, Florida, in 2016. With her roots in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, she brings a unique blend of legal, financial, and real estate acumen to the table. 

After relocating to Tampa, Lisa became an active investor and seller in the real estate market, successfully buying and selling multiple properties, including a short-term rental. In addition, her ten years of experience working with a remodeling company on various properties further refined her understanding of the ins and outs of project management and renovation and the importance that the attention to detail makes. 

Before venturing into real estate, Lisa spent more than 24 years as a paralegal and bookkeeper, honing skills that are invaluable to her real estate career. Notably, she was selected to be the lead paralegal in a class-action case that resulted in a multimillion-dollar settlement benefiting military members living in substandard housing. This pivotal experience, along with her personal real estate journey, inspired Lisa to become a Realtor.

Lisa believes that your home should reflect who you are, and buying or selling a home should be as personal and stress-free as possible. She strives to provide her clients with a seamless experience, combining her legal and financial expertise with her passion for real estate. 

Along with real estate and home remodeling, Lisa enjoys outdoor activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and hiking. She also loves attending concerts and theater performances. In addition, she is the head of a local nonprofit that supports young and expectant moms and dads in need, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the community.
