About Les
Veteran New York City real estate expert Les Meyers calls ethics and aesthetics the driving forces behind
his unique approach to buying and selling. He's a clear communicator and an excellent listener with an
honest, straightforward style. As a former commercial photographer, Les offers a rare talent for
constructing a narrative in imagery, which he uses to showcase properties to this day. In both
disciplines, he has always embraced technology, which motivated his leap of faith to become one of the
original Compass agents. Today, as the co-lead of The Meyers & Venn Team, Les navigates New York City
real estate with the in-depth know-how of a native New Yorker and a results-driven mindset that
consistently translates into opportunity and success for his clients.
Before real estate, Les ran his own photography studio, an experience he credits with nurturing his understanding of people, creative vision and ability to drive a team towards a shared goal. His time spent living abroad makes him a natural fit for working with a diverse, international clientele, while his photography background gives him an exceptional talent for conceptualizing spaces. Since launching the dynamic Meyers & Venn Team with co-leader Haley Venn, Les has guided the group through complicated deal structures and numerous transactions for prominent family offices and sovereign nations, including winning the government procurement contract to sell New Zealand's official New York City residence. It's no surprise their hard work has been recognized in RealTrends' top small teams rankings in 2021 and 2022.
Les resides in Gramercy, where he spent much of his childhood. He loves the area's timeless residential character, great restaurants and proximity to the Union Square greenmarket. In his free time, Les enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, attending concerts, collecting photography and traveling, especially visiting the Greek Islands with his children.
