Education
Lee has been a Realtor and Appraiser in the Mid-Cape area since 1971. He operated Marchildon Associates, Realtors in Yarmouth for 30 years until his firm was acquired by Kinlin Grover Real Estate in 2000.
Since then Lee works together with his wife, Dory as a team, and In 2015 they were joined by Jesse Hagopian, a native son of Yarmouth and a seasoned Realtor for 10 years in the Capitol District of Washington, DC. In early 2022, Danielle Hayward, also an experienced Realtor in the Mid Cape Area joined the Team. Jesse, Danielle, Dory, and Lee focus their expertise in Yarmouth, Barnstable, and Dennis, and with their extensive, local knowledge of real estate, provide their clients with exceptional service and integrity. They are consistently ranked in the top 5% of Realtors for sales volume on Cape Cod, and for 2023, The Marchildon-Hagopian Team is ranked No. 58 out of the 2,800 Realtors on Cape Cod.
They were honored to be selected to market landmark properties in Yarmouth Port including The Simpkins Manor House with over 11 acres of land in Sandyside; The Capt George Mathews House at 1 Strawberry Ln on the Town Common; The Strawberry Hill Meeting House at 17 Church St; and in 2023, the historic Holbrook House with over 12 acres of land at 252 Union St.
Lee is a former Treasurer and Director of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, and served on its Grievance Committee for over 20 years.
In our community, Lee has served as Assistant Harbormaster for the Town of Yarmouth since 1973. He was a Trustee of Cape Cod Hospital for 9 years, retiring as Vice Chairman of the Board. Lee is a Past Commodore of the Hyannis Yacht Club and a past Trustee of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth, The Raymond Moore Foundation in Dennis, and The Cape Cod Maritime Museum in Hyannis.
He has held a 100 Ton, USCG Masters License for both Sail and Power vessels for 59 years and piloted the HyLine ferries to and from Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard on a seasonal basis for 27 years. In 2022 he was appointed Coxswain of the fully restored, famous Coast Guard Motor Lifeboat CG 36500 which operates out of Rock Harbor in Orleans each summer season.
Lee graduated from Boston College with a BS in Financial Management, and also earned a MBA in Financial Management from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
