About Lauri
Lauri grew up in Andrews, a small west Texas town where the folks were famously friendly, had a crazy work ethic, and excellence was the norm. That's how her mother built the most successful real estate brokerage in town. It's also how Lauri got baptized into real estate at a young age, and how she engages in her own business to this day! After graduating from Texas Tech University, she taught students with special needs for ten years. She obtained her master's from SWT and became an award-winning administrator. Overall, she spent over 25 years leading and passionately advocating for her students, staff, and families.
As a real estate agent, Lauri's goal is to provide each client with the knowledge and resources they need to have an awesome experience. She is keenly aware of how valuable effective, open communication is so she truly "listens" to what her clients say. She utilizes her background in data analysis, creative negotiation, and strategic planning to keep all participants well-educated and informed throughout the process. The relationships and teams she has formed with industry partners and vendors ensure that her clients are well-advised and confident when it's decision-making time. On a lighter side, she also reminds her clients to keep things in proper perspective, not to sweat the small stuff, and to have plenty of fun along the way!
Lauri raised her two daughters in New Braunfels and has lived in Austin for the past several years. She has an expansive knowledge not only of Austin, but also many surrounding areas, so she maintains memberships in multiple REALTOR® boards and MLS services. Having access to properties throughout central Texas has allowed her to help clients sell, buy, invest, and lease everywhere from as far north as Jarrell to the southern suburbs of San Antonio.
Lauri loves playing golf, snow skiing, and being on the lake with friends. Much of her weekly exercise comes from pickleball, country/western dancing and goat yoga (minus the goats!) She's a bit of a "dumpster diva" and gets a kick out of matching her finds with those in need. Involved in a variety of community endeavors, she especially looks forward to her Mobile Loaves and Fishes food truck runs with her church team as well as serving as an active board member with her neighborhood's HOA. She enjoys scouting out unique eateries, visiting live music venues, and going on day trips to memory-makers. (Ask her for a list of her favorite culinary and activity hot spots and she'll send you on a scavenger hunt you'll never forget!) It can't go without saying that her absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and loved ones ~ especially her very special grandkiddos ~ Coalter, Kasen, and Raina Rose!
