Formerly in the management consulting world at Boston Consulting Group, Lauren’s previous career focused on Marketing, Sales, and Pricing at the top-tier global firm. Her career was born in an industry that specializes in high-end client services, a data-driven approach to everything, and dynamic problem-solving. She brings those same specialties to the real estate world. For Lauren, there is nothing greater than actively listening to a client’s needs and going above and beyond to make sure they are exceeded. She uses experience and data to inform each recommendation. She prides herself on her mix of empathy and straight talk.

Born and raised in Chicago and The Netherlands, Lauren now calls San Francisco home. Lauren attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees and was a four-year Division 1 athlete in Cross-Country. Fun fact: In 2023, she completed the World Marathon Challenge, running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days! 

Growing up, Lauren watched her family lead the suburban real estate market in Chicago. Her mom always served her clients with a deep level of empathy - always an ear during the hard moments of a deal, a friend rolling up her sleeves to help during the emotional sale of a home, an advocate for clients, and an unapologetic negotiator. Lauren saw real estate from the front lines and learned what it meant to provide excellent service in the industry. It's in her blood!

My husband and I decided to explore buying our first home in early 2023, despite being very satisfied with the rental we'd been in for a decade.

From our intro call with Lauren, we felt we had someone very empathetic to our situation who would not try to push her own agenda. She recognized that we were unsure and reassured us that we could work with her and see what was out there without feeling pressured to buy.

From day one it was clear she knows SF from top to bottom, and it made us feel great to have someone who knows the more niche neighborhoods we were looking into around Glen Park, Twin Peaks, Ingleside, and Excelsior.

Mid-way through our search we decided to broaden to also include Oakland. Despite that not being Lauren's main territory, she stuck with us anyway. When we unexpectedly stumbled on a house we both loved and wanted to put an offer on, Lauren sprung to action even though it was a Sunday evening, and in the end, those precious minutes definitely counted!

We ended up having to contend with one other offer, and again Lauren displayed the same level of integrity as she had throughout, giving us our options while always staying sensitive to our budget. She knew we did not want an ugly bidding war and she found a route forward that we were comfortable with. Ultimately her excellent communication and relationship with the listing agent gave us great insight and were able to make a winning offer.

Once our offer was accepted, Lauren organized our escrow to-do list, put us in contact with the right people, and clearly documented everything. This was a hectic and scary time, but she always downplayed the drama and made it much less daunting than it ought to have been. Throughout everything, it genuinely felt like she cared about our happiness, and was genuinely happy for us when it worked out, and we couldn't have asked for more than that. -Angela S., Buyer
